How to ensure your Electric Policy is compliant

What social housing providers need to factor into their Electric Policy
Below are some of the inclusions you need to be incorporating into your electric policy:
- Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 plus others
- Electrical Safety Councils: Landlords Guide to Electrical Safety 2009
- System must be tested and safe at the start of all new tenancies
- System must be maintained in a safe condition throughout the tenancy
- Periodically inspected and tested – no longer than 5 years from previous inspection
