The IOSH Managing Safely Course is delivered over 3 days using the official IOSH approved training materials, unless the client specifies a bespoke delivery requirement.

The course covers all seven modules

  • Introducing Managing Safely
  • Assessing Risks
  • Controlling Risks
  • Understanding Responsibilities
  • Understanding hazards
  • Investigating Incidents
  • Measuring performance

Ahead of delivery the delegate profiles will be requested to ensure that our trainer can deliver personalised training and ensure that delegate experience and upskilling can be effectively addressed and developed throughout the three days of the course delivery.

It is envisaged that the first and second days will cover the initial five modules with a taught delivery that provides a balance of auditory, visual and kinaesthetic learning styles, with the intention to keep all delegates engaged and involved throughout the daily sessions.

The daily routines in regard to start and finish times and breaks will be discussed and agreed upon with the delegate cohort/s directly to ensure attendance on the course is a thoroughly positive experience; likewise any specific delegate needs or requirements will be addressed and agreed prior to the commencement date, to ensure all parties are comfortable with the training delivery arrangements.

Additional reference and guidance documentation and activities will be prepared ahead of the course delivery dates and will be suitably tailored to ensure all delegates are fully supported throughout the course and examination stages.

Upon completion of the course delegates will receive an IOSH Certificate for accredited training.
