2024_Gold AwardPennington Choices are delighted to announce that we been awarded the prestigious RoSPA Gold Award for a second time, reaffirming our commitment to exceptional health and safety standards. This award from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), highlights our dedication to creating a safe and secure working environment. 

In our application, we demonstrated Pennington Choices’ comprehensive approach to safety, detailing our culture, operational practices, and robust safety measures. Our submission included data on accidents, ill health incidents, and enforcement actions, as well as evidence of thorough policies, risk assessments, and ongoing staff training. RoSPA's evaluation focused on Pennington Choices’ effectiveness in managing and mitigating risks, implementing control measures, and proactively preventing future incidents.

RoSPA, a global safety organisation, reports that approximately 2.3 million people die each year due to work-related accidents or diseases, averaging over 6,000 deaths per day. The RoSPA Gold Award stands as the ultimate symbol of safety and excellence, recognising organisations that demonstrate outstanding dedication to health and safety.
