Pennington Choices is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Davies as our new Managing Director. Greg replaces Pennington Choices’ founder and Managing Director of 23 years, Mark Seaborn, bringing with him a wealth of experience in business leadership and growth alongside a remarkable background in various sectors. 

 

With over 17 years of professional experience in a Director role, Greg has established himself as a distinguished business leader with a proven track record in value creation and organisational evolution. Like Greg’s impressive career trajectory, Pennington Choices has experienced impressive growth over the past 4 years, despite the challenges of navigating the pandemic. Greg Davies’ expertise in business transformation, operational process change, technology adoption, and market strategies makes him the perfect fit to lead Pennington Choices into our next period of growth. 

With a background that began as a Royal Naval engineer, Greg has ventured into engineering bias roles with British nuclear fuels engineering and several technology companies. Notably, he has been involved in commissioning engineering and developing technology solutions for the defence and local government sectors. Greg's early career focused on project management, operations, and sales, all of which have contributed to shaping him into a dynamic and adaptable leader. 

In 2006, Greg transitioned to the role of Operations Director at Cobent Limited, where he successfully delivered compliance and technology solutions for government agencies and organisations governed by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Under his visionary leadership, Cobent Limited experienced a remarkable growth, which ultimately led to a trade sale of the business. 

Subsequently, in 2010, Greg assumed the role of Operations Director at Concerto Support Services, offering technology solutions for integrated property asset management to organisations with large and complex property portfolios. His strategic mindset and commitment to excellence resulted in continued growth and success for the company. 

In 2016, Bellrock Property & Facilities Management acquired Concerto, where Greg took on the position of Chief Operating Officer. As part of an experienced and dynamic board of directors, he helped to drive the company's expansion by transforming the operational and technological processes within the business. This operational pivot supported the creation of a revised overall group value proposition, driving a new sales and marketing strategies and significantly improving the organic growth journey. Greg's visionary approach led to further strategic business acquisitions that broadened Bellrock's market reach, establishing them as a formidable player in the industry. 

Upon his appointment, Greg Davies expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I am thrilled to join Pennington Choices and work alongside its talented team. Previous Managing Director, Mark Seaborn, is continuing to work within the business in a strategic role, advising the board on the vision and execution of the next exciting chapter of growth. Mark commented, “After 23 remarkable years since its humble beginnings in my spare bedroom, I am immensely proud of the journey Pennington Choices has undertaken.
